Well Hello There!!

So I know it's been a really, really long time since I last posted - I'm really very sorry. I realized it was a bit unfair to those of you who always read my posts. So, I'm back! Not with a vengeance or anything but back with a new found love for writing. Though, I feel like I should explain myself for my absences. 

1. Laziness. Nothing more than pure laziness. Human nature right?
2. In January, My family and I took a trip back home (South Africa) and had a wicked holiday.
3. A broken laptop screen, which is now fixed!! 

So hopefully you will once again read my posts and come back for more.

Mmm... No Bake Chocolate Cookies

I got this recipe from this really cool blog called 'Lick The Bowl Good' click here

These cookies are seriously yummy and I hope you really enjoy making them :) happy Friday and have a lovely weekend :)

• 2 cups sugar
• 1 stick margarine or butter (I used butter)
• 3 Tbsp. cocoa powder
• 1/2 cup milk
• 1/2 cup crunchy peanut butter
• 1 tsp. vanilla extract
• 3 cups oatmeal (old fashioned rolled oats, not instant)

Mix the sugar, butter, cocoa, and milk in a medium saucepan.* Boil for 1 minute.

Add the peanut butter and vanilla. Mix quickly until peanut butter melts, then add the oatmeal and mix til well blended.

Drop spoonfuls on tin foil, wax paper or parchment. Allow to set and cool completely.

Makes 2 dozen 3 inch cookies.

There's this band called 'The Head and The Heart'

Their melodic sound, meaningful lyrics and use of the violin are truly wonderful.
